Our Standard Payment Terms – including Credit Application Process
Our standard payment terms is payment upfront before delivery, including deposit payments on placement of order(s) where the Equipment ordered is not in-stock in Australia.
We do offer approved Customers credit. If a Customer proposes to make payment on a deferred basis then we require the Customer to first complete and submit a credit application and, if approved for credit, to enter into a credit agreement with us. Our Standard Credit Terms are 7, 14, 21 or 30 days. A copy of our Credit Application and Credit Terms can be downloaded here. You can submit your signed credit application online by scanning a signed copy and sending to Accounts email@example.com.

Some Information for Customers on Power Generation Project Options
We recognise that every customer has different internal requirements and preferences when procuring power generation equipment. Our project services and rental teams have direct experience in participating in a variety of different commercial structures based on delivering optimal ‘best for project’ outcomes for our Customers. We work collaboratively with Customers to negotiate and agree on the right commercial structure to accommodate the customer – tailored for the project. Examples of commercial structures that can be explored include:
- Turnkey EPC project delivery (lump sum)
- EPC project delivery (open book, cost plus)
- Cat® dealer Engineering & Procurement, 3rd party construction (construction management)
- Equipment Supply
- Build, Own, Operate & Transfer (‘BOOT’) under a PPA (transfer at an agreed value)
- Operations & Maintenance (‘O&M’) (long term or short term)
We also work closely with Cat® Financial who can provide customers with finance and extended protection solutions they need to get the most out of their business.
Our Standard Product Warranties
Caterpillar® New Equipment is covered exclusively by Caterpillar standard product warranties. A copy of the relevant Caterpillar Standard Warranty Statement issued by Caterpillar Inc. applicable to Equipment you purchase will be provided by Us with your new Engine / Generator. If you have not received a copy of the applicable Warranty Statement with your Engine / Generator then please contact your EPSA Sales Representative immediately to obtain a copy.
Used Equipment – unless Cat® Certified with Warranty is sold on a strictly as is where is basis.
