The Opportunity

Looking to combine your technical aptitude with relationship management?

A unique opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and relationship-based sales individual to join the Engine Solutions team in Mulgrave, Melbourne to support existing customers and over time to grow our customer base.  This is an opportunity to share your technical knowledge in a position that caters to our core customer base in the building, mining, and infrastructure industries.

About you:

  • Track record of being successful in sales, specifically using your technical knowledge to drive results.
  • Experienced in territory management.
  • Enjoy working with customers and solving problems.
  • Ideal experience within industrial engines – power generation (would be extremely advantageous) – or even a keen interest!
  • Current drivers’ license (as you will be provided with a company vehicle).
  • High-level organisational and communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Strong listening and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and travel to client when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishing and fostering existing and new customers.
  • Monitoring industry trends to identify market trends/opportunities.
  • Expanding existing customer-base with the ability to maintain high conversation rates.
  • Completion of regular call cycles and CRM system (Salesforce) in a timely and efficient manner.
  • End to end management of customer sales.
  • Travel to customer sites throughout allocated Sales Region.
