Showcasing new technology in North QLD
The EPSA North Qld team recently invited essential utility provider personnel for simple familiarisation of the latest onboard technology available with Cat® Generators.
Daniel Thompson says “Whilst Cat generator functionality is quite simple the large touch screen controller is a new addition. If we can save just a few minutes during a power disruption then we have achieved our goals”. By using two different sized generators and a load bank we were able to simulate syncing to the grid. With just the press of a few buttons power was restored. Diesel generation is often relied on during service disruptions, response and reliability is critical!”
