Chris Murray

Chris Murray joined Energy Power Systems Australia as Managing Director in October 2018.

Chris has over 30 years of experience in sectors including energy, renewables, resources, project development and technology development in Australia and internationally. Prior roles include eleven years in Executive General Manager roles at Energy Developments Limited, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at ReNu Energy Limited and Chief Executive Officer at Solar Systems Pty Ltd.

He studied an Advance Management Business Program at Harvard Business School, has a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of New South Wales, is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is a member of Engineers Australia. Chris was a Non-Executive Director for the Leukaemia Foundation for seven years, a not-for-profit organisation supporting patients with blood cancer and their families.

Di Rothacker is an experienced and astute strategic commercial finance executive with exceptional finance and business acumen. She has more than 20 years experience in leading global and national organisations in the Energy, Machinery, Construction, Property Development, Infrastructure, Asset Management and Professional Services sectors.

Di brings to EPSA, extensive experience in finance, corporate governance and financial risk management as well as leading multi-disciplinary finance, central services, logistic and operating departments.

Di’s role heads up EPSA’s Central Services and Logistic teams and supports the development and implementation of EPSA’s strategy. She has a strong focus on culture, ensuring initiatives promote internal collaboration which ultimately underpin external customer support. Di’s commercial execution and financial background ensures she optimises business performance, resources and growth, whilst focusing on customer experience before and after purchasing from EPSA.

Marcel Heijkoop

General Manager – Engine Solutions

Marcel has a proven track record of providing specialist technical solutions for long-term projects related to multi-megawatt power stations in addition to product supply and service contracts in the following market segments: Defence, Infrastructure Construction, Industrial, Oil & Gas and Mining & Resources.

Marcel has a strong understanding of EPSA’s numerous market segments within Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.

Tim Whiteside

General Manager – Rental Solutions

Tim heads up the EPSA Rental business for the region and is charged with delivery of EPSA’s growth strategy. Tim has an expansive industrial services background with experience at BOC, Brambles, Wesfarmers, Onsite Rental Group and Linde Material Handling.

Tim is renowned as a customer-focussed leader committed to growth for all stakeholders and was appointed in September 2019. As a highly respected senior executive, Tim’s career has taken him deep into the oil and gas, energy, resources, mining, engineering, construction, automotive, aviation, manufacturing and heavy equipment sectors and he brings commercial acumen, major contract skills, and extensive experience in asset intensive businesses to EPSA.

Tim has a proven record in actively driving system, process and cultural change to achieve operational excellence and brings more than 30 years of senior leadership experience to EPSA. He has a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Sydney, an MBA from the University of Queensland, and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Institute of Engineers Australia.

Nathan Jones Strategy Manager

Nathan Jones

General Manager – Strategy, IT & Marketing

Nathan is a strategy execution specialist with over 20 years experience. Nathan’s diverse career has spanned technical engineering, management consulting and corporate leadership roles across strategy, transformation, project delivery, business improvement, culture change and customer experience. This experience was gained in many sectors including; energy, financial services, supply chain, legal, aviation, technology and health.

At EPSA, Nathan leads the strategy, marketing, customer experience and continuous improvement functions. This includes setting the corporate strategy; corporate planning; delivery of key strategic initiatives; building the brand; growing customer loyalty and generating leads to support Sales. Nathan joined EPSA in November 2019 and holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Queensland, a Graduate Diploma in Management from Monash University and an MBA from Melbourne Business School.

Grant Stubbs

General Manager – Large Power Solutions

Grant Stubbs joined Energy Power Systems as General Manager Operations in January 2020. Grant has over 20 years experience in sectors including infrastructure, services and industrials. Beginning his career as a graduate engineer at Caterpillar and spent 10 years working in the Caterpillar and Cat Dealer system in Australia and Indonesia. In addition Grant has held executive leadership positions at Emeco Holdings, Spotless Group and UGL Ltd. Most recently Grant was Chief Executive of Pumps United.

At Energy Power Systems Grant is responsible for Project Delivery, Engineering, Generation Services, the Marine Excellence Centre and the Central Distribution Centre. Through his career Grant has had a particular focus on safety and wellbeing and believes in keeping customers first, developing great teams and helping them succeed. Grant holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from the University of Melbourne, an MBA from Melbourne Business School and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
