Working together allowed us both to have a large stand and delivered a powerful message of partnership,” writes Tory Shenstone, EPSA’s Oil and Gas Segment Manager. “EPSA displayed a C4.4 Pyroban HazPak unit, which received interest from both offshore platform operators and fire pump OEM Packagers. The Cat® C4.4 NA HazPak is a naturally aspirated explosion protection engine designed with features such as a flame arrestor, an air shut-off valve, exhaust gas cooler, spark arrester and flame trap. “In complement, Westrac displayed the Cat Product Link technology, which enables customised health and utilisation reports, and mapping of mixed fleet diagnostics. Delivering information via mobile and satellite, Cat Product Link ensures accurate, timely and useful information about the location, utilisation and condition of power equipment – the kind of information that can make a huge difference in the efficiency and costs of our customers’ entire operation. “Our joint booth was a great opportunity for us to make new acquaintances with WesTrac, our dealer partner in Western Australia. A big thank you must go to Steve Riley from our WA office, whose understanding and knowledge of the C4.4 HazPak is of immense value. Special thanks must also go to Dean Sheridan, WesTrac’s Customer Support Manager, who shared a wealth of service knowledge both with EPSA and customers alike. “We will also soon be joining with another Cat dealer partner, Hastings Deering, at the upcoming APPEA Conference, being held in Brisbane from June 6–8.” ✜ WesTrac’s Dean Sheridan demonstrating the Cat® Product Link at AOG 2016.
