Extended Service Coverage (ESC)

Caterpillar provides customers around the world with the tools they need to protect their investment. Extended Service Coverage (ESC) offers coverage beyond the standard warranty period and, because it is transferable, it may increase the resale value of your Cat powered vessel.

ESC offers protection against unexpected repair bills and a hedge against rising parts and labor costs by providing 100 percent parts and labor reimbursement for covered components, less any applicable deductible. Cat’s global service network ensures access to prompt, quality repairs by trained technicians. The broad range of coverage options, which can be customized to suit your individual needs, combined with simple pricing terms provides confidence and peace of mind towards your engine's performance today and tomorrow.

Customer Support Agreements

A Customer Support Agreement (CSA) is one of the most convenient and affordable ways for you to take advantage of Cat dealer resources. Each CSA is custom designed to meet your specific needs.

One of the most important advantages of a CSA is flexibility. There are no pre-determined requirements or specific products or services that you must agree to buy. Instead, every CSA is an individualized plan that fits your needs and your budget. Costs can be based on a flat rate monthly fee, the type of service or repairs performed, or actual engine operating hours.

  • Commercial: Please consult with the Caterpillar Dealer in your territory for a fully customised CSA program to suit your needs.
  • Pleasure Craft: Caterpillar now offers Preventive Maintenance Agreements to keep your engines running at maximum performance.

Pleasure Craft "Concierge Service" 

Cat Concierge Service is available for vessels build by selected OEMs.

At any location at any time of the day, you can call the Concierge for assistance and management of your service needs.

The concierge will contact the Cat dealer to perform your service in a timely manner, keep you informed prior to the technicians arrival and during the repair, and will contact you after the service is completed to ensure your satisfaction.
