Cost of ownership modeling

The Engine Value Analysis or EVA™ Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) tool is an engine-agnostic analysis system that can be used for diesel, duel fuel and gas engine technologies. In addition to competitive TCO positioning, the EVA™ tool can also be used for the analysis of single engine life cycle costs or to compare and evaluate technology alternatives.

The EVA™ tool considers five different elements in evaluating owning and operating costs. The owning element includes upfront capital costs whilst the operating elements assess fuel or total fluid consumption, lube oil, preventative maintenance and overhaul/repair costs.

Vessel Monitoring & Analytics

Whether you’re running one vessel or an entire fleet, Caterpillar has the technologies you need to get timely, accurate data from your engines.
