Also attending was William Adams Product Support Representative Tim Honig for customer handover and service support. Each genset was inspected in the installation, pre-start checks tested, commissioned, warranty activated and document packs handed over to the relevant site personnel. Operation and control panel training was also provided to those attending from each facility to ensure a seamless transition into ownership of their new Caterpillar standby diesel generator packages. EPSA has been heavily involved in recent years with LIAF eligible facilities to provide a complete turnkey dependable standby power system tailored to each site’s criteria. An unrivalled and extensive Cat parts and service network throughout Victoria is fundamental. William Adams has this covered. EPSA’s stock availability, industry-leading warranties, and a competitive price in the tender process are all key to the success of this program. With the generally remote locations, being willing to put in the kilometres and time on the road is paramount to understanding each site’s needs. I am grateful that the Caterpillar name has been entrusted to provide a dependable standby power solution to each and every one. It’s been a great program to be involved with where we truly make a difference. I have enjoyed the variety of work, tailoring single, two and three phase requirements to meet site specifications. No two jobs have been the same. From C18 700kVA’s with elaborate fuel and attenuation solutions, down to small stand-alone single phase 26kVA sets with an automatic transfer panel, and everything in between – it’s been a thoroughly rewarding ride so far“.  Jason Martin visits the site at West Wimmera.
