Well done to the team, raising $135 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. A special mention goes to Steve Riley and Vanessa Peach for taking the initiative and some amazing cupcakes!

SAFETY

New isolation and tagging equipment will be issued to branches across the business to ensure the acceptance of the isolation and tagging procedure - training will follow as part of the roll out process.

Health

A recent hazard report entered in ConnX for excessive fumes when starting engines in the Mulgrave CDC warehouse has initiated a review of engine testing.  Sampling of the air and emission levels will be collected to determine actions against the results once complete.

Environmental

The battery recycling station has been a great success at the Mulgrave head office and I urge all branches to collect and dispose of their used alkaline batteries in a responsible manner.  A number of local waste recycling suppliers will take the batteries for free.
